Refined in structure and texture, detailed and generous in personality, and served in the slickest of bright, fashionable packaging –Wild Oats wines set the scene for every enjoyable occasion. Fresh, crisp and fruit driven, they have captured the minds of wine lovers, perhaps for no other reason than their suitability to our warm climate and light, vibrant cuisine.
Aroma and Palate A supple, rounded Shiraz with appealing plummy fruits and a touch of spice, produced from Oatley family vineyards at Mudgee. Will prove a fine partner to richer flavoured red meat dishes.
WINEMAKING NOTES:
Individual parcels were cold soaked for 2-3 days, fermented at moderate temperatures and gently extracted for 10-14 days prior to pressing, then matured for 18 months prior to blending and bottling. French oak plays a supportive role to the wine’s generous ripe dark fruits.
