Product Description

Region: Margaret River

Winemaker: Michael Edwards

Bouquet and Palate This wine has a nice floral lift from the Sauvignon Blanc, tight, zesty and citrusy, showing good palate weight and structure. Retains plenty of natural acid but still with the fruit weight that the Margaret River region is known for. Great balance and length.

Review “An aromatic herbaceous bouquet, then a similar palate lifted by touches of more tropical fruit; bright, fresh finish.”

On March 2nd 1990, amateur pilot Brian Edwards took off from Binbrook airfield in England, flying his 1943 Tiger Moth ‘Matilda’, bound for Australia. His mission, to fly the route of the great Australian aviation pioneers and to raise money for Legacy. The successful completion of the 6 week epic flight ended with Brian landing at Langley Park in Perth on May 13th 1990. The two wines from Tigers Tale are in recognition of Brian Edwards, who made his dream a reality.
