In making this Cabernet Sauvignon, the winemakers select a number of perfectly ripened parcels of grapes from their vineyards in the Central Ranges of NSW,  

Using quality French oak influence, this wine is a layered, flavoursome and smooth red wine with bright ripe cherry, blackcurrant and leafy notes.

With generous ‘forest fruits’ and ripe red berries to the fore and soft tannins, this delicious wine leaves you wanting for more.

One of Australia’s early convict settlers, James was a master watch and clockmaker who was soon pardoned by Governer Macquarie, appointed Keeper of the Sydney Town Hall Clock and commissioned to install the still functioning turret clock in the pediment of the Hyde Park Barracks.

As part of his remuneration he received a number of land grants from Governor Brisbane, including a 300-acre lot that is now the southern Sydney suburb of Oatley." Bob Oatley
