The Art ‘n’ Soul Sauvignon Blanc is crafted from Adelaide Hills and Barossa fruit and made in the traditional wine style – crisp, clean and refreshing. No oak – just 100% stainless steel fermentation has worked to preserve acidity and defines the intensely aromatic and dry style, imbued with the touch of the Peter Lehmann winemaking team. Winemaker’s note The 2016 Sauvignon Blanc is a delicate, dry white wine with a vibrant, youthful colour. The 2016 vintage has produced a classy, restrained wine with an aroma of passionfruit and lychee with a hint of cut grass. The palate finishes crisply dry and it is recommended for maximum enjoyment it is served chilled and drunk in its youth. Vintage The vintage started in very hot weather but was interrupted by two days of heavy rain in mid-February after which the weather settled down and we experienced wonderful Indian summer conditions for the remainder of the vintage. This allowed the grapes to ripen slowly and evenly, producing wines of exceptional quality. Vineyards A blend of premium Barossa Valley vineyards. The fruit was picked in the cool of the night, crushed, chilled and left on skins overnight to enhance flavour.
