The Chardonnay grapes for this flavour-packed wine were whole bunch pressed and barrel fermented. The wine was matured in puncheons of French oak, with 30% of them being new. Poured into a wine glass, it flaunts a medium straw colour. The attractive bouquet exhibits rockmelon, peach and dried fig aromas, complemented by French oak. This delightful nose is followed by a long palate showing delicious flavours carefully balanced by gentle acidity. Savour this white wine with Maryland crab cakes served alongside tartar sauce, Asian glazed wings or pasta dishes.
