Mammoth Sauvignon Blanc was crafted by the combination of 5% Semillon and 95% Sauvignon Blanc grapes. These grapes were picked, crushed and pressed, followed by fermentation using yeast strain. This process led to the creation of a pale green hued wine flaunting yellow highlights along the edges. The perfumed nose exudes wonderful scents of gooseberry, passionfruit and shortbread cream, with herbal and sweet char hints following close behind. A sip of the wine presents gooseberry and passionfruit flavours, enhanced by herbal and lantana notes. Citrus acidity drives the lively palate to a long and refreshing finale showing lemon biscuit characters. With the potential to be cellared for 3 to 5 years, this tempting Sauv Blanc goes well with sushi, meringue and feta cheese.
