Mammoth Cabernet Merlot is a stylish blend of 43% Merlot and 57% Cabernet grapes. Post fermentation in stainless steel with small amount of oak, the resulting wine features a dark crimson red hue. A swirl of the glass offers scintillating aromas of blackberry, plum, red currant, mint, mocha and sage. A sip of the wine reveals rich and intense flavours of Cabernet and Merlot grapes, coupled with plummy juiciness. These beautiful flavours and fragrances are complemented by fine oak as well as grape and oak tannins, to offer an attractive structure and silky finish to the wine. This delicious red blend has the potential to be cellared for 3 to 5 years from vintage. Suggested food pairings include braised lamb shanks, pepperoni pizza, and lasagna with bechamel sauce.
