Product Description

Little Brewing Company 'Mad Abbott' Belgium Triple Ale

The Little Brewing Company’s Mad Abbot range of ales are produced in the style of the Trappist monasteries of Belgium. These ales are bottle conditioned resulting in yeast sediment in the bottle, and undergo careful cellaring before release. They are made with finesse in true Belgian style with alcohol content well hidden beneath the complex flavour. The Mad Abbot Tripel is a fruity, pale, very strong ale.

Alc vol: 9.5%

Colour and appearance: Golden ale with good clarity and a slight haziness from refermentation yeast in the bottle. Very effervescent with a thick creamy white head.

Aroma: A complexity of pale malt, fruity esters and Belgianesque yeast characters, white stone fruits, white peach, lychee, apricot and sweet alcohol.

Flavour: Complex fruity esters, white stone and tropical fruit, and malty flavours. Sweet malt and citrus like characters with a bitterness and alcohol kick to balance in the lengthy finish. Mouthfeel is light/medium.

Suggested Food Match: The beer is excellent on its own and/or as an aperitif. Can be matched with white meat, seafood or green vegetable dishes, or drunk with an after dinner plate of soft white cheeses and mouth cleansing fruits.

Supplied in cases of 12x 330ml bottles.

Due to the high cost of freight we are unfortunately forced to pass on any additional freight costs on shipping beers around Australia.  Local freight is free (see local freight areas).  We will notify of any additional costs prior to shipment of beers
