Howard Park Scotsdale Shiraz was crafted using the best fruit parcels from low-yielding 1997 and 2000 plantings of the Lange vineyard based in Frankland River. It's a cool climate, elegant and powerful Shiraz showing an intense red colour with purple hues. The wine opens with aromas of dark and red fruits like dark cherry and damson plum. With a focus on these flavours, the palate reveals hints of black pepper, vanilla oak, dark chocolate and liquorice. Fine, mouth coating tannins finish the wine.
