The Beverford range of red and white varietal table wines takes its name from the sleepy hamlet of the same name in the heart of the Swan Hill Winegrowing Region. Beverford is the location of our winery, established in 1952.

Winemakers Comments: Fruit sourced from cool climate King Valley and old vines on the Beverford (Swan Hill) vineyard. 91% Cabernet Sauvignon with 9% Merlot, Durif and Petit Verdot blended in for added dimension. Traditional vinification followed by maturation in cellar and released at its optimum.
Colour: Clear plum ruby red of moderate depth and slow tears.
Aroma: Pronounced aromas of blackcurrant and cherry preserve with light toffee toast and pencil shavings.
Palate: Ripe full bodied flavours of blackcurrant and fresh raspberry. A balanced and developed tannin profile across the palate and finishing crème de cassis with a subtle vaporous maraschino toast.
