Brave Souls is the creation of Julia Weirich, in collaboration with Simon Cowham and Corey Ryan of Sons of Eden. The story behind the intriguing labels roots back to 1859, when South Australia sadly encountered one of the biggest maritime catastrophes in its history - the sinking of the SS Admella. Some incredible acts of bravery that came to light around this tragedy are represented on the labels. The Whaler, The Able Seaman and The Lighthouse Keeper are the Brave Souls who opened their hearts and risked their lives to help the remaining survivors. Deep crimson in colour, the wine shows vibrant and lifted wild berry aromas with complex black pepper and briary herbal nuances on the nose. On the palate generous and fleshy ripe red berry fruits are layered with subtle herbal notes, enveloped with enduring with enduring velvety tannins.
