Aramis Vineyards was founded in 1998 by Lee Flourentzou. Located barely 2km from the Gulf of St Vincent, the estate is one of the coolest sites in the McLaren Vale, and is planted to shiraz and cabernet sauvignon, the two varieties best suited to the site. This philosophy leads Aramis to source grapes from other regions that best represent each variety, including sauvignon blanc and chardonnay from the Adelaide Hills and riesling from the Eden Valley.
