Grown in cool-climate Mount Gambier, South Australia.
Cool growing conditions, rocky mineraly soils, and low-yielding vines have helped create a complex bouquet awash with true Pinot characters.
It has hints of vanilla and fresh tobacco over spicy cherry notes.
Region: Cape Banks, on Mount Gambier’s rugged coastline has the perfect cool-climate and soil conditions for Pinot Noir.
The rocks under the vines are razor sharp, like teeth rising from the soil.
We lose a lot of tyres, but this soil makes each vine struggle, keeping the vigour low and flavours complex.
