Grape Varieties: 100% Chardonnay organically certified
A staple of the Australian wine industry, Chardonnay is perfectly suited to cool climate areas, which allow for a long and steady growing season in which the grapes can reach peak flavour and complexity with balanced sugar and acidity. All grapes in this wine are organically grown and certified.
Stelvin Screwcap Seal:
Since the end of last century corks have been replaced by screwcap technology in the most advanced wineries in Australia, NZ and throughout the world. This is to remove the unreliability and taints caused by cork, and to ensure short and long term preservation of the wine quality for the benefit of all consumers.
Region: Orange Wine Region The volcanic red soils of our high altitude cool climate vineyards are ideal for growing classic cool‐climate Chardonnay.
Vintage Conditions: A portion of the grapes were picked early to capture the crisp acidity while the remaining fruit was allowed to fully ripen to allow the pineapple and stone fruit flavours and aromas to develop. A barrel fermented portion was blended back into the main batch to add a light toasty oak element to compliment the ripe fruit flavours .
Bouquet: Fruit salad and vanilla aromas.
Palate: Ripe stone fruit and sweet pineapple, natural crisp acidity balanced by a long creamy finish.
Serving Suggestions: Enjoy a glass or two with a French‐style chicken in a creamy white wine sauce, fettuccine carbonara or mushroom and baby spinach risotto.
