Cabernet Sauvignon is the second most widely planted red wine grape in Australia. When grown in cool climate regions Cabernet tends to show spicy characters as well as typical concentrated blackcurrant flavour. All grapes in this wine are organically grown and certified. Stelvin Screwcap Seal:

Since the end of last century corks have been replaced by screwcap technology in the most advanced wineries in Australia, NZ and throughout the world. This is to remove the unreliability and taints caused by cork, and to ensure short and long term preservation of the wine quality for the benefit of all consumers.

Region: Orange Wine Region The volcanic red soils of our high altitude cool climate vineyards
are ideal for growing premium quality Cabernet Sauvignon.

Vintage Conditions: A long cool vintage allowed for the grapes to hang longer on the vines, concentrating the flavours. Our lower altitude vines achieved full ripeness and flavor while our higher altitude vines contributed the spice, structure and elegance to the blend.

Bouquet: Ripe red berries, blackcurrant and forest floor aromas.

Palate: Rich plum and dark berry flavours with black pepper spice and a smooth cedary oak tannin finish.

Serving Suggestions: An excellent accompaniment to red meats and meat dishes with richly flavoured sauces, in particular lamb, venison and veal.

Alcohol: 13.5%
Minimal Sulphites used: A minimal amount of sulphur dioxide has been
added to this wine to keep it stable and fresh.
