Rosnay Blanc is a perfect example of a Classic dry white, a traditional old blend of two classic varieties, made in a modern style without oak to allow the fruit character to shine and age well.
The Vineyards The Rosnay vineyard comprises 4 hectares of Chardonnay, for which the Cowra region is best known, and 2 hectares of Semillon, planted specifically for blending with Chardonnay to give minerality and acid balance.

Tasting Notes Blanc’ is French for “white”, and the blend of Chardonnay and Semillon is a classic dry white blend of the best features of these two classic varieties. Since 2003, this has been the Rosnay signature white wine. The 2011 Blanc is made from well ripened (tropical fruit spectrum) Chardonnay and green (minerally, citrussy) Semillon, co-fermented from pressing. The nose has abundant floral character, and the palate has soft minerally semillon acidity and a full, rounded body with well ripened Chardonnay fruit characters.
